Meet My Daddy...A Day Late

I talked about my dad a little bit here.  But, in honor of Father's day I decided to highlight this awesome dude again and probably go into a bit more detail!  I know I'm a couple days late but better late than never!

 

My Dad is a Sachem in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.  I call him Sachem Daddy.  The tribe calls him Sachem Sun Trail.

 

My Dad is the Scoutmaster for Troop 360.  This is when he received his Wood Badge.  But, look at that smile...it's just simply amazing!

My Dad is a helper.  This is him helping me stand up when I was just a little Becky :)

 

My Dad is pretty adventurous!  This is him with my cousins Justin and Dan flying across the Royal Gorge

I know every girl thinks her Dad is the best Dad ever but they are wrong.  Just kidding!  I am sure there are other great Dads out there.  My Dad is great!  He's fun and hilarious but he also knows when to be stern.  He's always willing to help anyone.  And simply put, he's my Dad, which makes him fantastic!

He's a Beast!

He just looks like a beast right??  I mean seriously how can he not...he's toy cow is as big as him. 

 Gosh...he's a BEAST!

He thinks he is ferocious.  He really has little man complex but he's still adorable.

This morning I took Jersey outside and there was a doe and her fawn a few yards away.  Jersey decided he needed to let them know that this was his house and his yard and started barking like a crazy man.  Ugh!  He did not quit barking until I got him back inside.

Silly little guy!  He needs to learn that things that are bigger than him can and will squash him in a second.  Still love him though!

Mass Chaos

It's workin' Wednesday!!  I had hoped I would have something really to blog about today but I don't...

What have I been working on?  I've been working on trying to get caught up at work.  This is currently what my desk looks like:

Those pieces of paper aren't really blank...they just had some private information of students on them so I had to turn them over in order to give you insight into my current work life!

I just want to be caught up before I leave for the youth group trip in 10 days.  Oh geez...10 days.  Only 7 more days in the office.  I'm incredibly excited for the trip but gosh it seems like there is so much to get done before then!

Oh well...guess I'll just keep trucking!

P.S.  Yes that is a troll on my desk :)

 LMFAO--Sorry for Party Rockin

I did not listen to much music besides country until I started dating Aaron and I was forced to (he doesn't usually let me have control of the radio when he is driving).

Aaron happens to love LMFAO...which when we started dating drove me nuts but now I'm pretty ok with LMFAO.  I mean their songs have a fun beat and are quite catchy.

However, Sorry for Party Rockin gets stuck in my head in an instant.  This can happen at any given time on any given day.  If that line pops in my head it is in my head for at least 3 hours. When this happens I have no problem texting or IMing this line to any person I may be talking to so they can share the craziness with me.  I also will walk around my office saying this one line (since it's the only line of the song that gets suck in my head).

I like the song just not the fact that it can get stuck in my head in an instant!  But, my dear readers, this line is probably now stuck in your heads.  For that, you are welcome!

Mob Monday #1--Little Miss Carrie

I spent Saturday afternoon/night with this beautiful little girl:

That little girl would be my cousin Carrie.  She's the youngest of all of my cousins and probably the last cousin.  Which means she is ridiculously spoiled by all of us!  She might have walked a total of 25 steps during the Graduation party...we just can't seem to put her down!  I guess that's what happens when your 15 months old and your cousins are anywhere from 27 to 15 years older than you!

 Carrie is at that great age where she does still want to be carried but she is talking and walking and giggling.  I would get absolutely nothing done if this little girl lived anywhere near me.  In some ways I guess it's good she lives in North Dakota!

Oh Little Miss Carrie I wish I could see you more often but I guess I'll have to settle for waiting until Christmas!

Revamping

As you may or may not have noticed I've made some changes to my little piece of internet.  Along with aesthetic changes I'm also going to change the way I blog.  Currently I just blog about whatever but starting next Monday I will be blogging about specific things on specific days.  Here's the breakdown of the days:

Monday:  Mob Monday

I will highlight a friend or family member on this day.  Either by telling you about that person or telling you a story involving that person or group of people

Tuesday:  Trendy Tuesday

I will give you my review of a current pop culture item or two in my life.  This could be anything from the last song I heard on the radio or the book I'm reading or a tv show I recently watched or anything else you can dream of in pop culture.

Wednesday:  Workin' Wednesday

I will tell you about a current or recent project that I am working on or completed.

Thursday:  Jersday

Ok, I know I stole this from Jersey Shore but it's fitting.  This will be the day about Jersey.  Could be a story or just some pictures to let you know about the little furry guy!

Friday:  Fancies & Frets Friday

This will act as a summary to my week.  It will be a rants and raves day.  I'll list my 5 fancies and my 5 frets for the week for your enjoyment!

All of this will start next week....be prepared!!
